Privacy
Two things happen here. Your Pokémon list gets saved on your own computer, and the site keeps a tally of which buttons get clicked. That is the whole story. The rest of this page is just the details.
What stays on your computer
When you mark a Pokémon as caught, your browser writes that down and keeps it. Same for your team and your text size.

None of that gets sent anywhere. There is no copy sitting on a server. If you clear your browser data it is gone for good, which is why the Collection page hands you a code you can save somewhere safe.
It has to be saved somewhere or the site would forget the moment you closed the tab. Here that somewhere is your own browser, and nowhere else.
What gets counted
Every so often your browser sends up a tally of what got clicked. One row of it looks like this:

That row says the Moves tab got opened 37 times that day. Everyone added together, not you specifically. Nothing here counts visits. There is no row for one anywhere.
Your browser does the adding up before it sends anything. Ten clicks on one tab turns into the number ten. Not a list of ten clicks with times on them, just the number. Whatever order you did things in stays on your screen and goes no further.
What it never sees
No cookies, no ads, no trackers. Nothing that ties one click to another, or to you. Not your IP address, not your browser or your phone, not the site you came from, and not what you type in the search box.
Which means this site genuinely cannot say how many people showed up, or whether anyone came back, or what any one person did. All it can say is which buttons got used. That was the point.
The boring legal bit
This is a fan project, not a business. Pokémon is owned by Nintendo, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK inc., and this site is not connected to them or approved by them in any way.
